The Department of Biological Sciences at LSU New Orleans isseeking to hirea non-tenured, full-timeInstructor beginning in the Spring 2027 semester, with a start date of January 6, 2027.

Teach 12 hours per semester in various formats, which may include face-to-face, hybrid, and online (synchronous or asynchronous).Instruction will primarily be at introductory level and may include sections for majors and non-majors.Other responsibilities may include laboratory instruction and coordination and/or dual enrollment administration.
Required Qualifications
- Doctoral Degree in Biology or related area.
- Candidates should have excellent instruction, communication, and management skills.
- Demonstrated success in teaching large-enrollment classes.
- Proficiency with educational technology, assessment tools, and learning management systems.
Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
