Description of Work Unit
CEMML is a research, education and service unit within the Warner College of Natural Resources at CSU. CEMML applies the latest and most appropriate science to promote the sustainable management of natural and cultural resources on Department of Defense (DOD) and other public lands. We provide technical support, conduct applied research, and offer career development and learning opportunities to support resource stewardship. We collaborate with our sponsors and within CSU to resolve complex environmental issues, leaving a legacy of science-based decisions that sustain our resources for future generations. Position Summary
A Cooperative Agreement/Land Management Supervisor position is available with Colorado State University's Center for Environmental Management of Military Lands (CEMML), assigned to the Island of Oahu Schofield Barracks to provide natural resources management for the US Army Sustainable Range Program (SRP). This position serves as the lead agent for managing ITAM work under the supervision of CSU-CEMML and in coordination with Range Division Hawaii's Integrated Training Area Management (ITAM) office. This position manages a multi-million-dollar budget to support maintenance and repair of Range Division Hawaii training lands. This position coordinates and administers land management projects, contracts, equipment rentals, and acquisition of supplies and materials.

Duty/Responsibility
Responsible for originating and coordinating staff actions to achieve and sustain specific objectives.
Determine best courses of action to complete natural resources restoration and land sustainment projects at Range Division Hawaii.
Ensure all project efforts are in compliance with the Sikes Act and other federal laws and regulations established to safeguard natural and cultural resources.
Ensure land management actions meet requirements established by Range Division Hawaii and the SOW provided by its ITAM office.
Coordinate/schedule project activities directly with Range Division Hawaii ITAM office.
Allocate limited resources to efficiently complete SOW requirements.
Independently identify need for land restoration and report findings to ITAM.
